USING LIGHT

  • Broadlight & Shortlight - Light source is at an angle to your subject. Shadows fall to the Back or front of your subject’s face

  • BACKlight - Light source is behind your subject

  • Flat Light - Straight On lightsource No Shadows on your subject (Typically diffused)

  • FULLSUN - Dramatic Shadows, Expose For Light or Expose for shadows

  • Sunflares - Experimentation.

  • Light Color & tones - know your tones to prep for editing.

  • Don’t try to fit a Square Peg into a Round Opening
